In this lesson, I’ll show you how to make Speed Effect in Photoshop using a basic motion blur effect. This will give a subject the appearance of speed!
This “speed trail” effect is popular in sports photography because it’s a great way to add motion, direction, and excitement to an image, giving the impression that, for example, one athlete is rushing past the competitors at superhuman speeds.
For this quick tutorial, I’ll be using Photoshop 2022 but any version should work.
